Give Me A Break

Wrongly Convicted

Georgia

Georgia's Finest

Retarded Policeman

This is just for Cobb County, Georgia Cops

I tell you my friend talked to one of them recently.

What a punk he is.

I gather Cobb County is getting desperate for recruits.

New Notes:

I paid my speed trap ticket. The reason I paid is that if you challenge a ticket in the Cobb county courts. You do not get to challenge it on that date. No way, that would make it simple and easy for you to challenge it. No, they have created an additional step and day off from work for you. You get a court date. So the first shot at challenging a ticket>>> plead not gouty or what you wish. Then they make a court date for you to argue this. In the mean time you lost two days work and waited in the clogged Cobb County Court system.

Humm tells me they get few challenges = more paid tickets and more money.

Cha ching, Cha Ching

I wonder how many cops get tickets?  Yea right . . Like that happens very often.

This must seriously bring the challenges down since you have to take two days off from work. So they are playing the freaking odds that you will give in to the trap and pay the freaking ticket.

This is a game that they have come up with to win.

Well they are winning to the tune of 14-17 million dollars a year.

This is just another reason I have no problem pointing out the flaws and stupidly of the Cobb County cops.

It is my way of saying to them . . . . Fuck You Cobb County Cops.

This goes for the legal system and lawyers that created this money making scheme too.

(I don't live in Georgia any more, so I don't give a rats ass.)

Dumb Cops in Cobb County

I noted that they jump in the road in front of your car (the speeding car),  When they nail you for speeding. I noted this a few times.

Now I must be missing something or is this just stupid to jump in front of a speeding car?

Well I guess they teach this in the Cobb County police system.

The next time one gets hit by a car, I will stand up for the speeder.

Be very careful on the East - West connector in Atlanta, Georgia in the dead area where no one lives. The posted speed limit is 45 and it is a four (4) lane highway, that is under rated (IMO). I have seen more than 5 times where they sit with groups of four (4) or more cop cars just raking in the tickets. (Cha Ching)

The person that gave me my ticket was so busy, he wouldn't even talk to me about it.

I had to call him back to get my Drivers License and Insurance card.

I am guessing they had a quota to meet for the day and they were behind.

Fine and Forfeitures for 09/2006 were over 17 Million dollars for Cobb County alone.

I also found on the Marietta site that they were averaging 67 tickets a day. Yes that is correct. Well do the math, this is some serious money.

Speeding tickets are now serious revenue for the local county. I just did not realize that they were ticketing that many folks. To me this makes Cobb County a pretty sorry county to do that to the people that live or work there.

There was a TV news story about red light tickets in Marietta. They did not state the specific light. But showed the Hwy 41 and Windy Hill light.

They timed the yellow and it was consistently faster than other yellow lights. This equals more tickets.

They stated that that light gave out 27000 tickets in 2006 alone.

This county, I think looks at tickets as a way to make money and it appears to go all out to give out tickets.

Do your self a favor and stay away from Cobb County Ga. unless you really watch your speed limit.

I have requested in writing and in person to find out the number of traffic tickets that Cobb County writes. As I would and should expect... No information yet.

Why would they want the public to know how ticket happy they are?

I love the online pay your ticket system. Makes it easier for them to take your money.
